would like to join the police force just wonering what type of questions they ask?

they ask questions that have a yes or a no answer,nothing that you have to explain or go into detail.
Remember a polygraph is a test to see if you are lying.

They're going to ask about your background. "Have you ever done drugs?, Have you ever stolen?" etc. The more intellectual questions asked to determine your psychology, or personality type are too subjective to make polygraph testing possible. P-graph's work on yes/no questions. They'll be used to ferret any skeletons one may be hiding.

Depends on whether it's a life style poly or straight up poly.

Normally its the standard, have you committed a crime, done drugs, stolen anything....

Most people have, you just need to be honest about it.

they begin with questions about your name and stuff to get you to relax then they go into incriminating questions.

but the courts have thrown out the results recently because they are too disputable.
