The answer is Vodka but like many others have stated it needs to be a good quality vodka. If it's called Johnson's or Karkov, you will smell it ten miles down the road. Rule of thumb, if you have to bend down to choose your bottle, regardless of liquor, you're choosing the low grade stuff.

better vodkas don't have a a smell themselves, but they affect the bacteria in your mouth & you can tell you've been drinking, besides swerving around I mean. Screw the schnapps, just keep some mouthwash in your car (a swig of that that'll make your breathilizer show drunk by itself by the way).

You must be 16 and trying to drink in your bedroom or something. You can detect liquor on people's breath, no matter what it is. The mints and mouthwash only make it more obvious so don't try it.
