I have a friend (I swear just friends) but I was texting him and I was kidding around saying things like "I heart you" and "I miss you this summer" like a normal friend would. Two days later I get this text saying stay away from him he dosen't even like you as a friend. well it was his girlfriends cell and so I was upset and asked him why he would tell her that, and he says she stole his phone and read it. I think that is way out of line does any one else?

What do you expect her to do? He's "secretly" texting another girl, and then you have messages like that, of course she's going to be pissed. She was perfectly in line to do that. You should have respected that he was in a relationship and thought about the results of your actions.

Yes and no. If my boyfriend was getting text mesages like that from a female friend, I would probably be upset too. But she doesn't have the right to use his phone to tell you those things!

Dear lady, first consider the source of the text. It's his girlfriend. Secondly, how old are you? Think about how old she is. How much jealousy of your friendship does she have? And then realize that your friend is probably telling the truth.

I wouldn't want any girl text messaging my boyfriend that way... even if they were "just friends" saying things like that usually means you like someone more than a friend.

Yes. the girlfriend sounds insecure. You should just talk to her and explain the situation. If she doesnt like you being friends with him too bad. Thats his decision to make not hers.

Thats hard to explain. I had the same situation before, and I just had a talk with them both. They understood and we are all best friends now.

nope. it just means she cares. stop messing around and crap..... you can say that stuff once or twice maybe, but everytime..... that sends the wrong message, i dont care who the other person is. so, i dont think she was out of line. and, im not so sure that she stole the phone anyways......... but, even if she did, it would be fine by me if my g/f did that. acctually...... it would be really cool of her if she did that stuff to me, lol.

Guys don't like to be told what to do. Many are avoiding that in life because they have had that already from their parents and families.

Best thing to do is let him go. find someone else who will listen and understand you better.

It is very wrong, but you also have to consider that he has a girlfriend.... if you had a boyfriend and one of his "friends" sent him a message like that...how would you feel?...as a friend, it is your responsibility to be considerate of his situation.
