I'm cutting my hair pretty short, like in my picture (my hair is long) and I'm gonna donate it to Locks of love. I want to get a cut that's low mantinence and cute. One more problem, I look good with SOME hair in my face, AND my hair Is REALLY thick, It takes FOREVER tO brush.

its obviously not gonna b hard to brush once u wack it off. i did the same thing, and great 4 u!!!!!!
my hair and face shape sounds identical to you.
i think u should get it "stacked" in the back and have it angle down towards your chin.
like...short in the back and gradually longer in the front.
im sure u know what i mean.
but thats what i did, and i think its an adorable cut!
its really e z to take care of too.
some mouse, and if ur hair needs to be straightened at bit in the front.
all in all prob. 6 or 7 min to get ready,
trim every 3 wks dependn on how fast ur hair grows

Sounds like a beautiful gesture you are doing... If I ever decide to cut my hair (currently at my waist and curly) I too wish to donate it to them! So for you cut, I think you should go to a stylist that can help you find the right cut for you! Do take time to make sure you go to a good stylist and tell them what you like and don't like and that you want a low maintenance cut!

I would try getting side swept bang with a short cut. They go good with thick hair and are really cute. Like in my pic.

Judging you're a woman like your Avatar ask your hair dresser they'll know whats best. if you're a man in whith case you may want to consider changing your Avatar get a buzz cut a super short one is No.1 (3mm) or mine No.2 (6mm)

i have really thick hair and my stylist usually layers it for me and is cut shoulder length but you might want to consult w/ your stylist to get the right cut for your face structure
and that is really sweet to donate your hair

ask for a swing bob or a stacked in the back bob and it will be long around your jawline.
