I suggest that you study and gain the necessary skills to obtain work in a scientific area. If you already do, then get in contact with a US university and ask them if your skills are required in the US, and what you need to do to have your skills recognised.
Many people meet their partners at work. If you are working in science, you will meet more science ladies.
Once you meet one science lady, she will have science lady friends... and so on. You may even meet somebody nice while you are studying.

hang out at a college for research facility. Scientists are usually smart people and will spot lurkers though.

First question:are you physically here in the states? Otherwise it is a VERY long shot. Almost impossible I would say!

A buddy at Church was talking about how HE met HIS WIFE today. THEY met at a hike!! He AND she are BOTH scientists!
