I have always heard that this is not possible. I just wondered if anyone has been in love with two people at one time. I think if you can't decide between two people it probably means you love neither of them. Agree or disagree?

There are different kinds of love. Sure you can be in love with two people at the same time. If you are talking about the one you are to spend the rest of your life with, then no there aren't two of them at the same time.

Hello,
I am a firm believer that building LOVE takes time.
Now, LUST is instant, in the majority of cases.
But the elements of love are developed with proof, such as best-friends, trust, and respect.
How can you have those elements with TWO people, especially the "trust" and "respect" ???
Can a person that you tell them you love them ever trust and respect your words, if you are also saying that to another person?
And the same goes both ways. Get it?
I sure hope this clears things up for you, and many others too.
So, my answer is "No" you can't LOVE two people at the same time.
You can want to do that, which is quite selfish on your part. Sorry if that hurts a little...but better now, before all 3 of you get hurt by a triangle of confusion.

It has been my experience that yes, you can love more than one person at a time. Our hearts have a fantastic capacity to love, we can always give more. As a mother, I know I love different people in different ways and at different intensity levels. As for love relationships, I know I can love more than one person, however, I married the person I knew to be the best match for me and for the right reasons. Love doesn't make a marriage last, it makes a marriage begin. Commitment, personality, dedication, trust, honesty, humor and true respect and friendship make a real relationship, so someday you may find out who you really love and want to have a real relationship with if you are patient and aware of your own needs.

Yes it is very possible. It is because they both are giving you something that the other one isn't. I was in that boat once and it was really hard on me. I was in love with one for all the fun things we did together but he wasn't very romantic but the other one was a home body but loved the cuddling and paid lots of attention to me. so yes it is very possible to be in love with 2 people.

U need to think about it really good. Do u really love that person, or do u luv that person. By the end, somebodies going to be heartbroken. U also need to make sure that you've seen both sides of these people.It's possible, but u shouldn't do it.

It is possible to have more than 1 soulmate too. I've experienced this. Circumstances in life will usually play out which person gets to have you in their lives though.
Take it one step at a time. Time will tell.

it seems weird but you like them both but you might be afraid the other doesnt like you back but you still like them and youd have the other and yet you cant decide
not from experience sorry if i made no sense, but im only 13, not enough dating experiences

disagree. love is an emotion. you can love more than one person, thing, etc. look at it this way, you love both of your parents. if you have more than one sibling, you can love both of them. why couldnt you love more than one other, non related, person? and, you can even be in love with more than 1 person at a time. it may mean that its not as strong of a love, but still, its love.

I think that it is Absolutely possible to Like two people but I think that true love wont do that to you.
