I have a friend that was my older brother's friend first. We started hanging out when my brother would go to work. All of a sudden we started messing around and agreeing to be friends with benefits. He calls me every single weekend and asks me to go with him to go the movies or whatever. He holds me and kisses me in public. He has to let everyone around us especially his friends know that I am his. He is 21 yrs. old and I am 18. When people ask if we are a couple we just simply say we're just "homiez" and the next thing you know we're cuddling. The weird thing is I like him a lot and I don't have the guts to tell him because he is the "gangsta" type who hangs out with his "cholo" friends and it makes me look I am his skank g/f.

he obviously has a thing for you if he is making it known in public about your relationship. If you seriously want to try taking it to another level then just tell him. if you both are as close are you say you should be able to tell him how you feel. Kid around with him and say something like "he he you know I'm really starting to fall for you" or something. watch his reaction that will determine if its worth proceeding or just time to move on

if i were u i'll talk to him about it. it doesn't sound like u r happy about the situation that u r in. if u wanna date him and be his girlfriend, tell him. tell him that u want the respect and nice treatment u deserve. if he says no, well, he is not worth it then. deserve someone who treats u like a queen!
