Well, I think you answered your own question for one. You want to let it grow a little longer before you cut it. When you do, absolutely donate to locks of love. They use the hair to make it into wigs for children who are going through cancer treatment. That's what I plan on doing. I have several more inches to go before I cut it though. What a great reason to cut your hair and get a new hair style at the same time.

Um, I definitely think that you should donate it. If you want to grow it a bit longer before you donate it, I think that would be great too, the more hair you donate, the better. About a year ago, I cut 15 inches of hair off and donated it. I got my hair cut really short, like boy short, but I was glad that i did it.

Donating long hair to locks of love is a GREAT idea. They make wigs out of real human hair for children that have lost their own hair (usually as a result of chemotherapy). If you wait, that is fine. The longer your hair is, that may give the stylists at locks of love more options (such as a longer hair wig or maybe even a fuller style for the wig). Whether you decide today or a few months from now to donate your excess hair is a wonderful idea that will benefit someone.

Good for you for thinking about donating to locks of love. The only time I cut my hair is when I am donating the hair to locks of love. Its up to you if you want to wait until it is longer to donate.

Yes donate it. If your hair is that long it's a good sign that it grows pretty well and if you want later on, you can grow it long again. My friend and I have donated 6 times between the 2 of us.

Since you're a little shy about cutting it just now, wait awhile until it grows some more then do it. Make sure you cut enough too, my cousin cut hers about a half an inch too short and couldn't send it out.

well that depends, do you want short hair? if so i think it would be great to donate your hair but if you love your long hair, let it grow out and when you feel it's long enough, cut and donate it!

You've answered your own question...not at this time. Here's one to consider: why is it that we like long hair? It's hot, hard to keep looking good, and takes a long time to fix when you get up in the morning. I used to think long hair was romantic, but once I got mine cut (I could sit on it), I never looked back...so to speak.

you have to donate at least 10 inches to locks of love, so pretend you cut off ten inches, and see if you like it.
you should do it
