being sexual, etc. on this section? I believe they have their own section. Who else is annoyed by this?

I am not saying I am annoyed with gays, READ CORRECTLY, I am saying why is it discussed in this section?

I know homosexuality is a sin. It's okay to discuss if it is a sin or not, debate type. I am talking about, like, this "earthangel" guy who says things like "cheer up and be gay again" another asking if God is transexual. Just very stupid!

I'm annoyed by it too but who better to guide than the Religious/Spiritual? The bible itself says that scripture is profitable for correction and instruction in righteousness.
Besides, the good book does outline its stance on sexuality, so we just tell 'em. Stay strong my little sister.

The only people annoyed by this are probably either prudes, or haven't been paying attention.

Many posting questions have asked about sex-related questions on the subject of homosexuality, rape, adultry, pedophilia, heterosexualtiy, the clergy as they pertain to their Bible or their own, respective concepts of God, morality, religion, or spirituality.

Please pay attention and it will help your questions not sound so prudish or naive.

Bottom line option: You can always opt to not read those questions, or respond to them...

TO OTHERS RESPONDING WHO ADDRESSES HOMOSEXUALITY IN THEIR RESPONSE:

First: The question wasn't about homosexuality. It was about sexuality in general.

Second: The reason gays and lesbians often defend their lives is that homosexuality is the most frequently addressed issue when it comes to sexuality and religion/spirituality. Often times, it is brought up by another person posting (see responses above and below mine), with their own uneducated, unenlightened assumptions brought the issue to the forefront.

Third: It is VERY infrequent when the subject of rape, sexual violence, adultry, pedophilia are brought up in the context because homosexuality is the "hot button" issue amongst these groups and they are too preoccupied with attempting to dispairage homosexuals rather than turn their attention to heterosexuals - who are not free of their own lustings, sexual desires, sins, or perversions. Why IS that? How can we ALL, as human beings, exclude DANGEROUS sexual predators, molestors, and pedophies, or rapists, adulterers, and those who perform beastiality?! ...And you worry about gays and lesbians?! WHY?! We're the least of your worries!!!

Fourth: Remember, most pedophiles are actually heterosexual. Given a choice between the two, who do you suppose is more worthy of persecution: a man who has sex with another, consenting adult male, or or a heterosexual who coerces, tricks, or otherwise violates the innocence of a youth who is unwilling, unable, and non-consenting to a sexual act?!

Finally: I suppose it's very easy to lose sight of the serious issues when it's simpler to verbally attack someone who isn't in front of you, and because they don't necessarily get off for the same reasons or same way that you do. That really is apart from the point. Why the focus on homosexuality? That's the question!

Christian, YOU should repent from your judgemental, self-righteous ways. Look to your own kind for sin for right now, you are blinded.

I think with the things that have hit the news lately make being gay and sexual is a big question on religion/spiritual , however some questions should be in the correct category. However nothing in life is perfect and patients and tolerances should be applied.

I have deal with this issue before. They are just not giving us our right to take the Bible as it is, and insist that Bible is either wrong about gay, or Bible did not teach that Gay is wrong.

They are just screaming to have the attention, and acceptance. But not accepting Christian views on the Bible.

I have also mentioned, we (me at least) accept them as they are, but not the act of sin, as mentioned in the Bible. Should they insist that the Bible is wrong, that is ok. Just don't bother Christian any more.

Hey Gay, or Hoome, You have the write to write your own version. Call it King Gay Version also good. Just leave us alone. I beg you.

And to the question, yes I am annoyed.

Why to christians not recognize and celebrate the love of two gay people who want to get married?
I would think they would be supportive of Love. Do they think its not love? Then why would they want to get married in the first place. They can already stay home and have sex as much as they want. Would christians rather have a gay person not in a committed exclusive relationship?

I think it's because they believe that God should accept their choice to live the homosexual lifestyle. This is a political hot button & has spiritual undertones because the Bible specifically prohibits homosexuality (in the New Testament as well as the OT).

That seems to be the most important topic of the majority of Christian cults, so why would it be inappropriate to discuss it here?

Local Christian radio stations spent the vast majority of their air time condemning queers & abortion during the 2004 election campaign. As did many Christian tv preachers.

Sex is not a part of Spirituality and Spirituality has nothing to do with Sex . a Spirit don't have or want Sex . But some who are religious and not true Christians don't understand that. Those are of this world.

Because these people like to challenge the venomous anti gay hatred spouted by many religious groups, hatred based on ancient fairy stories.

I think if religous people openly have a problem with a certian group of people, and activly fight to not allow them to get married and activly try to pursuade them to change becuase they are "wrong" then you should be prepared to fight for that beleive... becuase there are plenty of others that disagree with the religious zelots and wish to change them too.
