The dog is an animal that can pretty much vomit *at will,* and so it doesn't need to eat grass to cause vomiting. Dogs eat grass because they like the taste of it. They eat grass because they want to. However, all that coarse fiber in the dog's stomach irritates the stomach lining so the dog usually vomits the grass up. Then the dog may go right back to eating some tasty grass...and maybe vomit that up, too. It doesn't hurt them to eat grass. It is normal dog behavior. The dog is an omnivore. It's odd that you never saw any of your dogs eat grass before because they all do it, just not all of the time.

Omg. That guy is soo insensitive! Anyway. Well ask your girlfriend. She may have been attached to that beaver, and just buying another cant bring that one back. Why did you think that they dog would'nt eat it??? DUH!? Your girlfriend might hold resentment against your dog too. It depends on what kind of girl she is. Talk to her! And next time, dont put ANY small animals with your dog!!!!
