i found this artical called "50 Habits of "Naturally Thin" People
How to get Started:Decide how much you want to loose and see how many calories a day it will take to make it happen by year's end. Then, work into your routines however many of these eating tweaks and exercises you need to achieve your goal.
Slash 250 cal.s a day to lose about 25 lbs. in a year, Slash 500 cal.s to loose 50 pounds.
This is based on a 150-pound person: you may need to cut more/ fewer calories depending on ur weight, age & gender. It also assumes your normal calorie intake essentially stays the same and your weight is stable.

Jumping jacks are helpful for your heart. Running up and down the stairs will definately be a good workout. Even walking fast and taking two stairs at once burns twice as many calories as taking one stair at a time. You can use a chair to work the back of your arms you simply put your palms on the edge of the chair while facing forward and dip you body towards the ground. You can do lunges for your legs, push ups for your chest and crunches for your abdomen. I lived abroad for a summer and did not have a gym close by and so I exericised in my apartment without any equipment. Good luck1

Jogging up and down the stairs might be good for you but not for the stairs. Running in Place is good ,but not a great deal of fun. Running around the neighborhood is good. You can build weights out of pipe embedded in paint cans full of cement. Use your imagination to come up with other weights. Don't forget to stretch before and after exercise, stretching legs and limbs. Sit ups and push ups are good exercise as well.

You could take up pilates or yoga. A lot of sporting good stores will sell you a kit with the equipment you need and an instructional video. Or if you have a space wide enough and a ceiling high enough you can jump rope.

ANYTHING you do to move your body helps! You can do squats, leg lifts, crunches, push ups, jumping jacks. Use old milk jugs filled with water as weights! Fill them up to a comfortable weight and add more water when you feel stronger! Dance around to music! Remember ANYTHING you do that moves your body is going to help you feel better!

Housework is one of the best exercises. Sweeping the floors (vacuuming or otherwise), scrubbing bathtubs and toilets, washing windows, all used different sets of muscles for squatting, reaching, pushing etc.
