Christians don't pervert nature into anything - we believe nature is the direct result of what God meant for it to be - and if scientist were truly seeking TRUTH, then they would have to seek no further than the scriptures to find all the scientific evidence they need to support their notions and ideas - statistically scientist who have questioned the Bible and definitively balanced it against Science have found the Truth and then been ostracized by the Scientific community for their revealing the Truth - so the real question is, why are people so prone to accept or give a lie, when the truth is so much easier?

This was the way of early man. It is how he explained things that he did not understand. Sadly, the practice still lives today, even with things that can be explained without resorting to "God did it".
