The Bible is clearly against homosexuality. If you are gay, I recommend not believing in the Bible.

I think the stereotypes are very evident here. Straight people think a certain way about homosexual people and in your statement you apparently think a certain way about straight people. I think every one needs to work on the way we think of others. We are each unique individuals and our feelings matter. I care about others feelings even though I don't know them, so I would never post a comment saying "Why are people gay, whats wrong with them?". Being straight doesn't mean a person is sad and dull. There are plenty sad and dull people of all orientations, races, and denominations and vice versa. I hope the best for you and that this world will one day work under less stereotypes for all.

david, your a dick. The christians are the ones that try and tell people what to do. DOUCH!
oh yeah about the question, I think both sides (straight and gay) seem to have the same percentages of sadness... one of my gay freinds commited suicide becuase he was a meth head. Each type of person should be able to do what they want and deserve our respect. Tolerance is a hard thing to do, but when it is practiced we can all benifite from it. Yes and I am tolerant of christains too. just think the beleives are incorrect.

The truth is they both don't. A straight couple shouldn't be married if they won't love and cherish each other. But in the Bible, They plainly say that same-sex marriages are forbidden. Otherwise, what would be the purpose of Adam and Eve.

"If a man sleeps with a man as he does with a woman he should be put to death"
i think it says that there. And stop saying we're so sad. We're not. Don't knock it till you try it. There's great hope and life in the Bible. It's not as sad as you think, thank you very much!

Your "question" implies that being gay is the key to avoiding sadness -- and that anyone who's not gay is necessarily sad.
You also seem to imply that if people are not gay, they must be dull.
Don't you think that's pretty smug and heterophobic? Or, at the very least, shallow-minded?

That's correct. But it does say that homosexuality (which is the true term) is sinful. And until any evidence of homosexuality being genetic, other than the rejected 1993 findings of Dr. Dean Hamer, I stand by the Scripture.

It doesn't have to say it. I'm straight and I don't think it's boring at all. You choose to be the way you are. The Bible does speak of sleeping with the same sex, being an abomination.

Because they think their way of living is the only way of living.....time to get with the real world and stop living out of a book about a man no one has ever met and was more than likely written by a couple of bored pot heads. Hey we are all entitled to our opinion arent we.
