Your brain is operated by electro chemical reactions, your entire being is your brain in action. When you die, your brain ceases to work, you dont eat, you dont burn fuel, you are dead.

Yes, your bodies mass will not be destroyed, it will be used as daisy feed or worm food.

Your body does become worm food. But your soul, being a divine thing, does not have to follow the that and can create or lose energy whenever it needs to. You can't force the supernatural to follow the natural.

lol, there is the theory of "21 grams".

that when we die our bodies become 21 grams lighter, and that signals the departure of the soul.

it was a movie too (poorly made, i thought).

i don't believe in souls, but hey, there's a lot we don't understand about life and nature.

The soul isn't physical, hence the law of conservation of energy does not apply to it.
