i love this girl with all my heart, but she just dies not return my love, i really want her to be safe, the last man she was with was abbusive. I also recently found out she has the hotts for my best friend. Upon further inspection, i noticed he likes her as well. As i am good friends with both, should i hook them up for her pretection? I believe i am accepting rejection well. I think her being with somone i know, trust, and love like a brother, is the best thingh i can do for her well being, is this right?

Yes, I think it would be good to help them get to know each other better, it would be a very loving thing to do.
It would be best not to actively propose anything to them beyond friendship unless they are both ready for a permanent relationship - breakups aren't supposed to happen after the relationship has become sexual, so no good will come of setting foot on that path before the time is right.(*)
So try to make sure that he will treat her right in this matter - after what she's been through already especially - before you move forward in any way with facilitating anything between them.

I've done that for a friend of mine in highschool that I loved dearly, but she still ended up a stripper with a husband twice her age and a baby by another man who used to rape her and abuse her....so don't hold your breath, but know that what you are trying to do is very sweet.
