Before we started going out I was like in love with him. But the other night we went to a friends party and it was like he wasn't there. He didn't talk to me that much or even say hello when he first came in. During the party I was flirting with this other guy more than my B/F and i didn't feel the connection between us eathier. Should I give him a week or dump him now? I don't want to seem like i dated him just to date someone.

(We started going out in the 16th of June and 2day is the 26th)

By flirting with him I mean like we were spiting water at each other, I wasn't all up on him and stuff. Like some of you are making it seem.

It seems like you now know the difference between a crush and a boyfriend. You liked him before you started dating him = a crush. It seems like you're not that important to him. He didn't even get ticked when you were flirting with someone else?? You should talk to him. Ask him why he's been ignoring/avoiding you. If he wants the relationship over, he'll probably say it. If he's vague and doesn't really answer the question and keeps avoiding you, maybe it's time to call it quits.

Well, I think you should realize that it has only been 10 days and that possibly you cannot tell how a relationship will go in that short of a period of time. So, with that said you should realize that if he was acting distant during the night out it could be because he did not know how to react at a party with you there since you just started dating, everything is still new. Also, I am sure you were not easy to talk to while flirting with another guy. I would take these things into consideration before ending the short relationship.

How long have you known him? I know someone who started giving the cold shoulder to her boyfriend when she no longer wanted to date him. It's quite an immature approach, though, if you ask me. Be straight forward and up front about your feelings. Maybe he doesn't care about you. Sorry... I always talk things over w/ my bf. I don't like to play mind games. I know from experience how much they can hurt and how ineffective and untrue they can be. However, don't make innacurate assumptions about him, either. Perhaps something bad happened, and he was upset or distracted. Keep chuggin, girl. Life's hard.

relationships are never perfect, dont let anyone fool you. i do think that everyone deserves a fair chance, unless they are being completely mean or abusive. if you think you may be compatible, give it a month. i didnt realize that Forrest was my soul-mate unil I had broken up with him and realized what I had lost. I just didnt give him the chance, I thought we were too different and I wasnt ready. I was wrong! Luckily we got back together and are married now!

If you dont feel a connection whit this guy, its time to break up, why keep struggling to keep a relationship going if the two of you really have no feelings for one another.

He may of not felt like going to that party for various reasons but did so to please you. Because he wasn't talkative, you resorted to flirting with another guy. I'm surprised he didn't call it quits with you afterwards.

You shouldn't feel like you need to be in the relationship just to be in one. If you kick him to the curb, you might find you like being single more. If you waste your time on him, you might pass by your real prince charming.

i would talk to him, but dont start yelling at him be calm and collective think about it for a few days and let you calm down because if you talk to him out of anger you could say something you might regret later
