Yeah!I know what you mean! Those are energy saving stoplights.(I kid you not)They use less electricity than your regular stoplight.
You might want to tell someone you can't see it.I think there is a way to correct that problem. They may need to readjust the angle it sits or something. In the meantime be careful!

these are a special light that the town puts up so people cant judge what color the light is untill they get prettc close, the reasoning behind this is so that people dont try to speed up and beat the light before it changes colors, im a cop in my town since we installed these lights we have had half as many accednets,

That would be your wonderful government at work. They should have done their homework to see what would work best in your area: Is it due to trees? Town/city should come in and remove to make lights visible from all directions. Is it due to the position of the sun?(We have areas were in the afternoon the "west" sun is a killer)In that case I would invest in good sunglasses.
Attend your next Town meeting and bring up the issue if you feel it is something that can be corrected.
Good luck. (At least you see your tax $$$ working for you)

Get in contact with your town or city hall. Speak with the town planner or the department of transportation on the issue. Good luck. Hopefully it gets fixed before there is an accident!

i have seen these before and they are very annoying
i think they use less elctricity to run, but they dont seem to show up all that great
file a complaint in your town they may be able to fix them. you could also have other people you know file complaints to make sure they get the idea that they arent working out
be careful while driving
good luck!

That was courtesy of your elected officials and traffic safety dept. Those tickets that you and others receive pay for the traffic control, their shiny new cars, and the little hooded covers that'll mount on the signal lenses next year to block the glare. On behalf of your police , thank you in advance for your contribution!

It's not the fault of the traffic light, this is just what happens when your vehicle exceeds the speed of light.

Best to ask the city govt about the inefficient new traffic signals.

contact your city hall and complain.
If enough people do they will fix it.
If you are in a big enough sity thay should have a trafic control dept. they regulate the traffic lights.
