This dessert doesnt have berries in it...but it is refreshing for a summer dessert. its called:
Angel Lush:
1 angel food cake sliced thru to make 3 layers.
I large box vanilla pudding mix (keep dry)
1 large can crushed pineapple in juice
cool whip.
Mix the dry pudding mix, pineapple with juice and 1 and 1/2 cups coolwhip together till well blended. Place bottom layer of cake ona serving plate. Spread pudding mixture....top with next layer of cake...then more pudding then top layer of cake......top with remaining pudding......If you have them...I place a few sliced strawberrys around the top. It makes it look very pretty for guests.
Place in refridgerator till ready to serve.
This is very good and light....you can also make it virtually fat free by using low fat pudding and coolwhip.

How about Jello. You can experiment using different kinds of berries in different flavors of Jello. I do it all the time. Example: I like Black Cherry Jello with Raspberry flavored Peaches (diced) and sliced Bananas.
