Actually, shaving does not make hair grow back thicker and darker, even though that's what we've all always heard. To change the texture and color of your hair, the follicle that is beneath the surface of your skin would have to change and that cannot be accomplished thru shaving it. It will however look REALLY bad if you shave it when it grows back. Stubble on a woman is never pretty. Try wax. It can be a little painful but lasts the longest of any hair removal method save permanent hair removal. To decrease the discomfort, pull your skin taught while pulling the wax strip off. Always apply the wax on the hair in the direction it grows and pull off by pulling AGAINST the grain. Make sure to pull skin tight and as soon as you pull strip off rub the area wtih a good amount of pressure and it will greatly reduce the discomfort. Here's an example of pulling the skin tight. When doing eye brows, apply wax and then put the strip on it, put pressure on the strip to make sure it adheres well, with your free hand on the outside of your eye, stretch the skin so the area which your removing the hair is stretched out.

Well you can use a facial wax. That helps but i personally can't stand the pain. I use those bikini shavers. You know those small ones. You can do it all over your face and even shape your eyebrows. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT SHAVE! Shaving with a razor will cause the hair to grow back thicker and darker. And you dont want that. YOu can buy the bikini shavers for cheap at walmart and target. They just require one AAA battery.

I wax my own at home. It is a pain in the butt but it works! I also have tried Avon facial removal creme. It works pretty well especially when you are in a rush.
