Soul Machine is quite close.
As per the Ghazal and its background, the female love is expecting her male love to have faith in her and reciprocate but she feels that he even does not know/realize the meaning of faith/trust and how it is practiced in love.

ये ग़ज़ल असदुल्लाह ख़ां ग़ालिब की रचना है. आप उस से वफ़ादारी की उम्मीद लगाए बैठे हैं जो वफ़ा का मतलब ही नहीं समझते.

It means:
I expect faithfulness from someone who does not know what faith is...
Wafa is best expressed as wafa... it is difficult to find English words that satisfactorily translate these abstract ideas.
