why do women say "all men are jerks" so much?

No I'm not a jerk, so don't follow that line of reasoning.

Women (but not all :) ) say that because they fail to either acknowledge, realize or take responsibility for their parts in making wise choices for themselves including the men they choose. They also fail to understand that they themselves have to have self esteem, integrity, self respect and core values in order to expect those qualities from someone else. They fail to do work on themselves yet expect men to heal their issues.

Basically, it's all about taking responsibility for your own choices in life. If you "choose" a jerk, don't complain about "having or being" with a jerk. :)

not all men are jerks, but many are, but it goes the same way for women. some women can be worse than jerks.

I think women who say men are all jerks have had mostly jerk men. or they have had a very broken heart by one or more men and thus arrive to the conclusion that allmen are jerks. which does not make it true.

critical thinking is not waht a lot of women do a t times.

i think that it also depends on what country you live in and what culture you belong to.

men and women deal with each ohter in different ways depending on what country.

THERE ARE GOOD MEN BUT ONE MUST FIND THEM. AND THE BAD MEN STICK OUT LIKE A STONE IN A DESSERT. That's probably what's happening. Some women have not had the chance to see that in between the crowd there are nice men.

I have lived in several countries. England. Sweden, Mexico, and USA.
In Mexico most men are jerks to their women. In Spain where i come from we have both but people are more liberal than in Mexico.

In England men can be so funny and nice, but i also encountered jerks. and i mean jerks who hated americans and since Im totally fluent in American English i got taken as an American and men and women would come up to me and flat out say "i hate americans".

In Sweden a part of the world that is very distanced from the rest of the world, and i mean even Europe, some men are the nicest men i ever found. Totally the opposite of what I have found in Mexico an England.

In USA I think women are to blame fo rmen being jerks where there are jerks.

ANY PERSON THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN UPBRINGING OF GOOD MORALS, EDUCATION, COMPASSION, AND GOOD EXAMPLES IN GENERAL PASSED DOWN TO THEIR CHILDREN can and do become jerks later on when they grow up.

So that can be in many countries.

CONCLUSION" NOT ALL MEN ARE JERKS. JUST LIKE NOT ALL WOMEN ARE BITCHY.

Women say that because just about all guys treat them similar and to be honest guys just don't understand women. A women always give a guy the benefit of the doubt in the begining but 90% is always the same turn out. I agree not all men are jerks but the majority are. Sorry is just the way it is.

Most of the time, women sasy that right after they have been hurt by a guy.. and if they are hurt really bad, then they could care less about what is really true. You may not be a jerk, but some guys are. And some girls are too.. dont take it personally. The ppl that sasy that are just hurting.

Becasue the majority of men(younger ones anyhow) are into relationships for only one thing! Thats themselves! They dont care about the girls feelings, thoughts, or anything else. There arent very many decent single men out there. Most of them are my good friends, and they treat women like ****!
