Depends on the people. How much do you REALLY talk and know each other. How much of the relationship is more about the physical or superficial? If you love each other for the hearts and souls that you're bringing into the relationship, then go for it. If you're unsure about that at all, wait a bit and see how you feel in a few more months. Good luck.

I was in a LTR for 2-1/2 years that ended with never being proposed to. Then I met someone else about a year later, he proposed in 3 months and we have been married 11 years in August..... follow your heart.

no it isn't. now if it was 3 mos. after then that would be too soon. and any way even if you were propsed to, you can wait longer to actually get married. so after you are engaged you can wait like 4-5 months before starting to plan your wedding.

How old are you? If you're 17, hold on another 10 years, but, if you are 27... (Statistics show most people marry their life partner within a year of meeting them, so...)

Not really, not as long as you both are sure that you want to be in this for the rest of your lives. Make sure you are on the same page. Good Luck!!
