From what I can find, there is no Biblical authorization for the type hierarchy in the Catholic church and in other denominations. Each church should be independent, served by elders and deacons. Those elders are only over the congregation they serve and they are responsible for and to them. No bureaucracy.
Bad people can and will use any means available to them in order to accomplish their will. God will hold them accountable.
What they did to you is inexcusable. I hope that you can be free of the pain it has left you with.

Why do you call the Church "bureaucracy" a bunch of "sexually repressed perverts," when it's well known that
a) very few child molesters are clergymen
and
b) very few clergymen are child molesters?
Those are the facts. Facts do not convince you?

You refer to religion. The Christian Faith Is not about religion. It is one-on-one with God. No bureaucracy involved. The perverts of one or another "religion" usualy do not even represent the true believers any way. But why settle for "religion"
Come to God in The Way He proscribes and you will find all that He has for you. Better than any "religious sect or cult"

I really do tire of pretentious bigoted atheists, or whatever they chosse to call themselevs, of accussing Christians (and more sepcfically Catholics) of being pedophiles and perverts.
To class a relgion of people that 1/3 of the human population devote themselves to solely based on the actions of a handful is downright juvenile.
A few of the more prevalent atheists in this world of ours were Joseph Stalin and Fidel Castro.
Now, based on that, would I call every atheist on the planet a communist, murderous, dictatorial pig?
I think not. Those are the facts. Apparently facts don't convince atheists ...

Im really tired of people who dont get over the "pervert" idea since there are no Christians who condone the behavior of perverts and murderers who claim to be Christians. By the way, did you know there are atheist perverts too? They wander into every walk of life.

Anytime you have such a large population like the "Christian" church you are going to find some wackos. Unfortunately these are the ones that get all the attention not the ones that are out there in the missionary field every day risking their life to spread the word, and to minister to others, to care for their sick. I think you are suffering from "you can't see the forest for the trees" syndrome.

I don't believe that God works through the people that do those things.
Not every Christian rapes people. There are such things as false prophets...
Athiests rape people... does that mean you must also do the same??
p.s.... Where's the facts?? That everybody screws up... or that everyone sins... or that nobody's perfect?? That's a known fact.
People pretend to be Christians but they lead double lives... and give us a bad name... But that happens in every religion.. or non-religion...

You will have a hard time convincing someone of the facts, if their faith does not agree. Faith is the belief in something without facts to prove it. Despite being raised a Christian, I am not a true believer. I need facts and religion gives you faith not facts.

facts.... about broods of vipers.. that is what those are.... hypocrites are not REAL Christians. REAL Christians do not have practices, etc like that. the Catholic belief system is hellish.
