I do not support the Iraqi war. I DO support our troops who are over the fighting it the though. After all, they're not the one who started it. Bush did. However, I also believe that, even though we never should have gone to war (at least not when we did) that we need to stay and finish what we started.

Everyone knows that stealing the oil from another country increases the value of oil produced in America, so having more oil will raise gas prices and make Bush richer.

We also know that even though WMDs were found in Iraq, and many that the Russians sold them were moved out in just days prior to the war, that Bush lied to us, just as Clinton did when he bombed the Pharmaceutical Factory for making WMDs. They had the same Intelligence issues.

We also know that since we conquered the country, it is their own responsibility to rebuild, not ours. We are just supposed to attack and leave them to starve, die and kill each other. Leaving will absolve the US of any responsibility to what happened in Iraq.

YES I SUPPORT THE WAR IN IRQ. We have an obligation to the world community, as we hold ourselves to the highest standard, to do the right thing, and finish what we started there.

No. The Iraqi war was a ploy to increase Bush's ratings before the 2004 election, so he didn't look like a complete failure for not catching Bin Laden. And a very costly (I mean in lives, not dollars) ploy at that.

No one in their correct mind will support the Iraq war. No one!! The war will be lost like Vietnam and all returning service people will walk the "Walk of Shame" and eat Crow food. The USA will go down in defeat.

Speaking from a soldier, no I dont' support the war, and I do support my soldier below me and my leaders above me. We will leave Iraq when it gets a democracy, which is all based on opinion. I think its time to come home and whatever happens over there happens. Please vote wisely in 2008. Really listen to the view points and what not.

OF course i support the war. The iraqi people has been living in terrible conditions for the past few decades, all because of one man and his evil sons in treating Iraq as a piggy bank for their own grandiose and selfish desires.

I ask you...would you

1)want to live in a country where your president didn;t care about you and instead of spending all your rich oil money on building infrastuructre for better quality of living, spends it on palaces instead?

2) a country where the government doesnt give CRAP about you?

3)Living in constant fear that in the dead of night when you are in bed with your wife and children and the secret police suddenly storms in and takes you or your family away and jails you without any REASON at all?

4)Living under threat of sanctions because of irresponsible ways of your leader that was dragging the country down?

5)Not being able to reach positions of power because you weren't a Baathist party member?

6)Being a conformist YES-MAN all your life because if you didnt want any hell to come raining down on you, you would keep in step with the other SAddam cronies? Where's your individualism and personal freedom?

7)Having your pretty wife, girlfriend or daughter or sister or even child, raped and pillaged because Uday or Qusay Hussein was driving down the street one day and happened to fancy her and thus abducted her for their own selfish ends? And guess what, there's NOTHING you can do about it because if you did, you'll be dead in a JIFFY very very soon. What would happen to a man's sense of dignity to be powerless to protect their woman folk because of the terrible power owned by Saddam's sons?

Tell me if you want to live in a country like this. These are reasons enough to remove Saddam from his misbegotten seat of power. But there are many many other reasons for the war in Iraq

Before anyone, for the sake of knowing any better and having a better understanding of reality, start to rant and rave about how the war in Iraq is 'immoral', 'wrong', 'America's going in for the oil', 'Bush is stupid'..etc etc...Go read the myraid number of books like

1)George Sada's Saddam's Secrets
2)The Insider
3)Mayada - Daughter of Iraq

to better undertand the hell-hole that was Iraq under So-Damn-Insane

Absolutely! 100%

A free Iraq promotes a SAFE America.

It goes back to the old cliche: If you want peace, prepare for war

No I don't, I think it is for nothing. I strongly support our troops though, and always will.
Getting back to the war. Did the Bush people not realize that the Sunnis and Shites don't get along? And probably never will. What were they thinking?
