The expression "only begotten" is a poorly translated Greek word. This word actually means "unique," "only," or "only one of its' kind." We are not equal with Jesus spirituality, morally, in goodness or anything like that but we are all equally God's children.

Yes, we are sisters and brothers to Jesus, just as it says in the bible. As for the power of Jesus, we can acheive that as saints, but he is part of the trinity, one in being with the father and the holy spirit. they make up one god. It is a concept many people can not understand. But I believe we will all be the same in heaven.

Who is he who is called Jesus the Christ? Do you know him?

When he was praying to the Father, just prior to his crucifixion, he said:

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3.)

In that council in heaven, the plan and purpose of this earth life was explained to all the spirits, and then “the Lord said: Whom shall I send? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And another answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will send the first.” (Abr. 3:27.)

He who was selected was Jehovah, the oldest, who had promised that in going he would honor the Father and give him all the glory.

begotten means:
of offspring) generated by procreation; "naturally begotten child"

Jesus is God.

Jn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jn 1:2 He was with God in the beginning.
Jn 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Jn 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
Jn 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
Jn 1:6 There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John.
Jn 1:7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.
Jn 1:8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
Jn 1:9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.
Jn 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
Jn 1:11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
Jn 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—
Jn 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
Jn 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

we are God's children by adoption

Ro 8:23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

Begotten

Col 1:15 ¶ He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, {both} in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.
Col 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

Firstborn in verse 15 does NOT means Jesus was a created being, but rather it means "first in rank" or "preeminent." Ephraim is called God's firstborn,

Jer 31:9 "With weeping they will come, And by supplication I will lead them; I will make them walk by streams of waters, On a straight path in which they will not stumble; For I am a father to Israel, And Ephraim is My firstborn."
BUT we see in
Gen 49:3 ¶ "Reuben, you are my firstborn;
Notice Gen 32:28 He said, "Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; Israel was the SECOND BORN,
Gen 25:26 Afterward his brother came forth with his hand holding on to Esau's heel, so his name was called Jacob; BUT God called him His FIRSTBORN,
Ex 4:22 "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD, "Israel is My son, My firstborn.
So Col 1:15 does NOT mean that Jesus was a created being

When you are born again you are born into the family of God, but Jesus is the first bron and head. We are all creation of God, but not his children.. The children of God do the work of God..

Jesus is the symbol of our human "self", our turning from God, into this physical dream; Christ is the truth of who/what we are. That Self remains eternally whole, and part of God; not the angry god of old kings, but God as God actually is. We remain as created.

Romans 8:17 - And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
