My sort of ex boyfriend and I are taking some time apart, he has been away for a while and he came down to visit recently. We slept together, and according to him it was supposed to be just a sexual thing. But he was holding me afterwards and he fell asleep with me in his arms. Now I am confused. If this was just sex then what is with the cuddling?

Maybe he feels safe with you, or felt that u need it to be held, he probably was just being considerate thinking you might feel bad or like a whore if he just had sex, and didnt touch you afterwards.

My wife and I cuddle all the time after sex, though usually after we cool down.
It sounds to me like it was just sex. He was tired and fell asleep, and you just happened to be there.
