The closest you can buy over-the-counter is Valerian Root - it comes in supplements, and in tea. A B-Complex vitamin daily will also tame your tension. Drink chamomile tea, and use lavender soap, shampoo, candles, incense - anything you can find in lavender - as it is calming.

The closest prescription drug to Valium is Xanax, but it too requires a prescription.

Thats a difficult question!! Different people react differently to such sedative. If you are addicted to such strong sedative, I guess it will be difficult to get a drug without perscription.........
