No one made God. He has always existed which is kind of mind-boggling since everything else that we are familiar with does have a beginning.

I'd recommend reading (or at least "googling") Hesiod's Theogony. Philosophical/theological value aside, it's a great literary piece. In fact, "Theogony" basically translates to the origin of God.
