Changes in her surroundings may cause this. Have you recently brought home a new child or changed your relationship status? How about a move or new job? Is she going to school now? Has someone hurt her? Reverting to wetting is a sign that something is wrong. Have her seen by a doctor and talk to her. Really listen to her and let her know that she can tell you anything and you won't get angry at her. Make sure she knows she's safe and that if someone has told her not to tell, then that person is a bad person and you will take care of the problem once you know what it is.

It's slightly different but my friend's daughter wet the bed until she was 12. She was simply a heavy sleeper and couldn't wake up to go to the toilet. Ironically the father had the same problem when he was a child so dometime there is no reason jsut something they eventually learn. They just went out of their way to make it seem like no ig deal to avid her getting anxious and embarrassed about it.

This could be for many reasons, some serious, some not so much. Do you have other children? Sometimes kids get jealous of younger children and will revert to their age to get attention. My cousin went back to using a bottle because her sister had one. My cousin was five. It could be a medical problem with her bladder. Or has she experienced some sort of trauma just prior to beginning this? I don't want to alarm you unnecessarily, but bed wetting is a sign of abuse especially sexual abuse. Please rule out the other factors before jumping to conclusions that someone is sexually abusing your child, however.

When I brought my 2nd child home from the hospital, my 5 year old began having accidents again. I didn't make a big deal over it and it stopped quickly. Make sure that nothing stressful has happened to your daughter and if there's no problem there, I wouldn't make a big deal of it.

Is there something going on at home or school that's causing her stress. Is she trying to do it for attention. Those are 2 major factors. I have a girlfriend that is going through that very thing and it's because she switched her childs daycare. Little things can do that.

Is she lacking attention? I just told my husband, my dog is doing the same thing---I think she is jealous of this computer. She peed about 7 times, yesterday, on my carpet. I used to play with her a lot. She is 10!

It's possible that she's just looking for extra attention and this is her way of expressing that need.
Have a lovely rest of the day.

Something is bothering her. Watch her closely and talk to her a lot. She may be scared of something or someone.
