I like Russian people.
If you mean as immigrants, we have some in my kids' school. The kids all know English, and the parents are learning. Only the Grandmas struggle, and that is an age thing. Even they try.
They say that 80% of Europeans think you should learn the language and assimilate (never forgetting your heritage) when you go to a new country, and it shows.
I've always liked the Russians I've met.

How can a question like that possibly be answered. I am an American but there are a few American's I don't care for. I'm sure it would apply to Russian's also. I have only known one Russian personally and he was a cool dude. But Kruschev wasn't to cool IMO. The country really dosn't make a difference if you see what I mean.

They are wonderful people! I've been to Ukraine and I know a few Russians that immigrated (legally) to the USA. They are no different than anyone else. They want love, freedom and happiness like everyone else.

We have a big russian community in my area, and their all lovely. I've found alot of Europeans are nice people who do assimilate incredibly well into the British community. Decent hardworking people :P

The only Russian people I have met are a family of six who emmigrated to this country years ago to escape the communist regime. They are quiet , polite and lovely people. They work hard, harder than we do actually and contirbute to thier community and church. I like them and am happy they are here.

Sorry, but my comments aren't as positive as everyone else's. The ones I've met can be rude, pushy, have zero courtesy, and have this 'better than thou' attitude, especially towards darker Americans. I know there's decent russians, but I've been losing hope.

I like Russian girls, I was messing around with one last night. :)
By the way, her family came here seeking asylum from religious persecution(Christian). They left when she was 2. She speaks fluent Russian, and I must say, her accent turns me on....

No problems if they mind their own business and don't try to interfere in mine. If they want to immigrate here, they are welcome as long as they do it the legal way. I've worked with some and they are intelligent, well mannered people. I haven't seen any flying their flags in protest of the USA or demanding rights, they were legal so I guess they already HAVE rights. I like them just fine.
