If this has to do with the uneducated individual that asked why all atheists are gay, please forgive them. They do not represent the views of all Christians.

We'll....I think it is sad if Christians think you have to be homosexual to be athiest. There are plenty of people who disagree with other issues in Christianity besides gay marriage for one. Also, even if you do disagree with gay marriage, and that is a main reason that you are a not a Christian, it still doesn't mean that you are homosexual. As a matter of fact you could be homosexual and be a priest or something. So, if anyone on yahoo answers actually thinks that you have to be homosexual to be an athiest, tell them what I wrote. If they still don't understand, then they are too illogical to be trying to explain something to in the first place, and not worth the time of day to do so, because they will still never understand. Trust me, there are people out there like this.

You cannot explain anything to Christians on Yahoo Answers because most of them are irrational, and since you can't have a 2-way conversation with them, you're best off not wasting your time.

don't just be posting your own question in reply to other questions.
People sterotype, that's just the way things are. I am Christian and I believe you are not gay and being an atheist does not imply being gay.
I think it's a way for Christians to deal with the fact that people can live without a God. They want to give an explanation.

Why do you feel the need to explain yourself? You think we've never heard of heterosexual atheists? That's just dumb. There are also people who are gay who also believe in Christ.

why are you obsessed with being an atheist? If you don't believe in God, what are you doing hanging out in the religion section of answers. You don't find me poking around in the dungeons and dragons area because I'm not into dorkie things like that. If you aren't into religion (atheism being the opposite of same) why do you care?

Honestly....you don't. These "people"--and I use the term way loosely here--are no longer rational, 99.9% of them aspire to be sheep, literally, being herded in a flock until the wolves munch on them.....you might run into *one* or two rational Christiainoids on this earth, but not on Yahoo, really.
And I said "Christianoids" above because you all, you evangelical wannabe quadrupeds, you all KNOW you are Frauds. Real christians mind their own business and tend to their OWN souls. They FORGIVE others for what they do. THEY DO NOT JUDGE AND SEND OTHERS TO HELL FOR THE "heinous sin" OF NOT BEING A BRAIN-DEAD BLEATER LIKE YOU!!
*ahem*, But yeah, you don't explain Jack to folks who deliberately and willfully no longer listen to reason. You report as many of the damn dirty apes as you can to Yahoo for Spam and Abuse is what you do, and hope that at least half of them get kicked.
How's that for your "tough love", all you latter-day Pharisees?
Don't like it? Let me translate this into something you understand that is in your comfort zone:
Too BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDD.

yo, great question. #1. Question the Proclamation of your right to a belief system. Yes you have the right. #2 Then proclaim that your atheism is no slam against their right to a belief system, rather a lack of clarity of their system to make sense to you. #3. You do the right thing because it is the right thing to do, not for any reward or future prize.
Just maybe this is our heaven, and death is our hell.
#4 then go to a karoke club and lip sing to john Lennons "Imagine"

You say "I am heterosexual atheist." Why must you explain anyway?

If your an athiest then why the hell do you care about explaining yourself to christians? I'm one, and I could care less about your personal life in that manner.

Simply say:
"I am heterosexual. I am an atheist."
Make certain to ask "Even though I don't believe in your God, I have an unexplainable urge to prove myself to you"
