Humans have to spend their whole lives going against their natures and not doing all the things that they want to do and are inclined to do so that they can get into Heaven. But if want to be promiscuous and greedy and sinful why would we want to be somewhere where we will never get to do those things? Some people say that we change when we get there and we are no longer interested in being sinful. If that's the case, why not let everyone into Heaven?

You are basing your wants on human desires and not on spiritual desires. If it is just human desires that you want, joy, happiness, etc. think about the best times in your life, and multiply that hundreds and hundreds of times. The joy and love you will feel in heaven will be liken to this. Now think about the alternative...

Well if you like to be sinful and greedy and promiscuous and I guess you are saying it makes you happy why would you want to go to heaven? That happiness is just temporary pleasure that is not true happiness, It's like doing drugs, you get a high for a while then after you have to face the torment and the diseases and running from the law or family, trying to cover it up. Yet people are willing to give everything for that temporary high. Why would you want to go to hell with people that like to murder, Rape and only think of themselves, to become slaves when in reality you thought you were free because you can do what you want. instead of following the commandments that will make you happy and free, free from hiding away, free from fighting and addictions.

Does being sinful satisfy your needs? Being with God fills you with joy like no other. Being in heaven means being completely happy without wanting to sin. Because in heaven nothing happens that would make you want to be promiscuous or greedy.

Because when we go to Heaven there will be no more suffering and all will be good. We will see all of our loved ones who have passed and we have been longing to see. There is no describing Heaven. It is going to be so beautiful and perfect that we can't even imagine it. NOW!!! You choose all this or burning flesh for eternity. I know where I want to be.

Because u have to get Jesus into ur heart. If u want to be sinful and greedy. Go ahead, But you'll go to HELL! God only wants people who actually want to go to heaven and believe in Jesus. He can't let everyone in heaven if u dont obey his laws. etc...

Those who turn away from GOD, will not see Heaven. Because they had thier chances, many I would bet, but still chose to ignore the LORD.

Why would we want to go to Heaven? Because the Alternative is Hell, and that will be forever a burning pit of fire and those who turn away from the LORD will suffer greatly.

I wish you well..

Heaven's coming to earth, first of all. It's not that we go live on a cloud somewhere, strumming a harp. It's about God coming to dwell with men on the earth. (See the last two chapters of the book of Revelation).

Second of all, sin is self-destructive. It leads to death, not life. And life is more fulfilling.

Third of all, God is holy.

Fourth of all, God will not override your will. He will give you what you desire, either to your own damnation or your own salvation.

Because, while God is Love, God is also Justice. And it would not be just letting in those who listened to His word and behaved in a Golden Rule fashion along with everyone else. If He did that then why would He bother inspiring the Bible and incarnating Himself?

Is that not the point that reliogion trys to make? That it requires a transcedence out of the petty nature of man into a more perfect state of being. To my mind, heaven simply represents that state of perfection that we can achieve.
