I've been doing lunges, crunches, walking, pushups, hula hooping, lifting dumbells every day, how long before I see results? I'm trying to tone up my body, I'm not trying to lose weight, I'm trying to make sure the weight I'm gaining is muscle and not fat.

it usually takes 6-8 weeks of proper training before you will begin to see results.

This depends on many things: age, initial weight, metabolism, genetics, diet.

Supposing you are late teens to early 20s, and starting from "average", and supposing you do all these exercises as 3 sets of 10 reps every other day, and further supposing you drink only water, and don't eat junk.

4-8 weeks you should start noticing some changes. Some flabby parts will get tighter. If you don't see at least a little thinning around joints and cuts at the ends of muscles after 8 weeks, you are not training hard enough.

If you want to look like a big, monster, 400 pound gurlilla, you'll need to do a WHOLE LOT MORE.

You will start seeing real changes after 3 months...according to La Fitness. For some people it takes as little as a month, some take 5 months. I know I started seeing results after 2 months...keep hula hooping. I hula hoop everyday, and I have for many years, and not only am I the hula hoop master, but my tummy looks great...good for you. Keep doing what you're doing!

Depends on what you weigh and your stature at the starting point. Don't forget, muscle weighs extra then fats. So, you might lose 5 kilos of fats, but achieve 2 in muscle. Do not be discouraged that you simply most effective misplaced 3 kilos. I would not even weigh myself. Go via sight. Should you like what you see in the reflect, then you definitely made it!
