The parents can be any type. If the mother is negative anything and the baby is positive anything, the mother has to get a Rhogam shot within 72 hours after the baby is born. The doctor will do this automatically. The shot prevents the formation of antibodies so you can have more children later on.

Blood type has nothing to do with conception. People with any combination of blood types can conceive.
