I live in Los Angelels where it's been very hot and humid the past couple of days, and this morning when I left at 7:00 I turned on the A/C for them; I won' t be back til 4:00, will they get sick?

why would the AC make them sick? My dogs are home all summer long with it on. Its just cooled air, its better than letting them broil alive, thats for sure.

I live in southern louisiana....and oh boy is it HOT. I leave my dog inside with air conditioning with no problems. It would be horrible to leave them out in the heat...that is cruel. Just remember, it does not have to be cold in the house just set it at a comfortable temperature.

Your dog will be fine. Animals live in the air conditioning in many states.
What is more detremental for you pet is letting them be an outside animal and an inside animal. They should be either or. If you want an outside pet....leave him there. If you want an inside pet....don't let them outside.

It would be much worse for them to be out in the heat than inside with the A/C. They will be fine.

You're dogs will be fine as long as they don't have separation anxiety like my dog. If so, you'll find your carpet/vinyl ripped up from them trying to get out.

They'll be ok. I live in Miami and it's really hot. I leave my dog there all day.
