Jesus was middle eastern. He was a jewish carpenter and was tough enough to drive all of the merchants from the temple courts with a whip. (it's also noteworthy that none challenged him, he was jacked up too) His hair was short, he had a beard. He "evolved" into a white guy when Sallman painted a pic of the breck girl with a nicely trimmed beard. (Gentle Jesus Meek And Mild was once a popular Hymn) Sorry he wasn't white like me or brown like others.

As long as it took for Roman Catholicism to evolve. Jesus was dark enough as a child to disapear in Africa, and most people stay the same complexion or darken as they age in my experience.

Who says Jesus is white? It dont say that in my Bible. Those of the Christian Faith know we have no description of Jesus' looks. All "pictures" of Jesus clearly show the bias of the artist. i do not keep syuch pictures. I will know what Jesus looks like soon enough. I can wait till then.

A lot of white people killing black and other coloured people through the years, made jesus blonde and white with blue eyes...go figure..since I started using Yahoo answers, I couldnt believe my eyes..there are so many blind religious/patriots/racist people in this world....

Not long. The Greeks and Romans got ahold of Him and He just kept getting lighter & lighter. I'm surprised they let Him have brown hair! I think we're all gonna be surprised when we see what He really looks like!
