They should make it better. There was nothing wrong with the Curl. People got carried away with the products!! My mother still has the curl because it look good on her and maded her hair grow. It wasn't designed for everyone. I like that is called the cold wave and some people have it to this day.

ewwww ewww and ewww. Just imagine being in a club and a guy/girl with a jerri curl asks you to dance. Every movement would have activator juice flying and dripping everywhere. All over your clothes, face, in your drink ewwwwwww. Not to mention the clothes and furnature they would ruin. So many better options now, like a wash and wear relaxer or a wet set.

Where a person is originated in the hemisphere makes a great difference.

The style should be banded because it is so old and greasy. I am not even sure if any store sells the products anymore.

Boi please! I was a victim of that fad, and the second that I switched over to a relaxer I was the happiest kid around! In my opinion that is a style that never needs to rear it's greasy head again.

i think they were gross back then and probably still are now. the curls are definitely popular now, but the grease and moplike look that accompanies them will hopefully never be in style again

That was an ugly, drippy time in our hair history. If it even tries to come back, we should stage a nationwide protest!

I believe there are somethings that are better left dead, and the "grease curls" are one of them.
