I don't have teenagers YET, but since the day both of my daughters were born my biggest fear is that they won't make it to the next day. I'm sure that fear will only get worse the older they get!

My daughter is not a teenager yet but I do worry about this horrible unsafe world as it is now and how it will be when she is a teen(she is 7 now) I worry that maybe she will not have followed my advice or that I didn't give enough advice. We are raising our family in church but we know that's not enough but let me say that it's better than the alternative, in this day and time, what really can you do except be there for them and let them know that nothing is bad enough that you can't talk with them about

I worry about my sister and her kids. My nephew, who just turned 15, does pretty much whatever he wants. My sister doesn't even know where he's at half the time as he doesn't leave notes. He does have a cell phone that his Uncle gave to him, so she calls to see where he's at or what he's doing. He, too, doesn't have a curfew.
My neice, who is 13, is so disrespectful. She HAS to have her way or she bites, slaps, says four letter words, etc. so my sister will cave in. She, too, doesn't respect any elders.
My sister and I were abused growing up, so she has become very self-reliant and just takes crap from everyone. She has very little money to buy things for herself, so I give her whatever I don't want anymore, mostly clothes or just stuff around the house that I no longer need. She buys herself undergarments, but that's about it. It's a really sad, sad situation.

My son is 15 and I think my biggest worry is- he already has this huge plan on how he wants his life to turn out! He even knows who he wants to marry and has baby names picked out adfter college that is! I dont want him to think the world is made of marshmellows and cotton candy! Im afraid he will find out the hard way that life is NOT always as easy as we want it to be

I worry that she'll be tempted to do drugs..or that she may become "easy" with the boys, fortunately I can say that she's a real treasure and mature enough to know right from wrong and keep away from things that can hurt her.

Ya'll are so right to worry, problem is no kids an angel and no parent knows thier kid. Because we don't tell you even if you think your our "freind" I'm 19 and pregnant. My little brother has freinds 14 yrs old who are having sex with boys and girls cuz they think its cool. 98% teens drink I promise you, most are having sex at 14, and yeah they are all smoking pot.

Its normal to worry about the ones we love. Its something that we will always do.
Usually the main concerns are drugs, sex, homework, school, smoking, lying, chores, curfew, graduating high school, with hopes they move onto college.

Getting behind the wheel of a car and not thinking... killing themselves or someone else by accident..
Matter of fact - just getting behind the wheel and having an accident whether it is their fault or not... scares the heck out of me.
Drugs are also a big concern as they get older.

II worry that they won't grow up and live for God. I do not want them to backslide and turn their back on the morals that we have tried hard to instill in them. This is my BIGGEST and worst fear.

That you will get that call in the middle of the night and find out they are no longer alive.
