In men's football, there is a time when a free kick is awarded right in front of the goal area and the men line up and stand protecting their ummmm private parts against the ball - in women's football what do they protect - their breasts? We were just talking about that at the office and saying how we never actually paid much attention to that - now we're all seriously wondering.... thanks.

Personally,im more worried about the ball smacking me in the face(which it has done on a few occasions). So to answer your question i have my arm over my mouth/nose area where it would cause more damage.

Silly question, but a serious answer. Yes they protect their breast. Free kicks are hit fast and hard and hurt anywhere they connect with you. You can move your head out of the way fast enough, but the body is a different matter. For most women the breasts are the most dibilitating place to get hit, as the balls are for a man. It's not a matter of protecting your prize assets, it's a matter of not lying on the floor in pain while the oppostion score.

we used to cross our arms across our breasts, because some of the women can kick a ball as hard as a man and believe me it hurts like mad if it catches you !!!!!

Women don't have to protect their breasts because it doesn't hurt if they are hit. With men it is errr, slightly more painful.
