Christianity requires a person to change their nature...
They don't want to do that. They want to think for themselves.. and have open minds and do whatever, whenever thinking there are no consequences....
What they don't realize is God gives us freewill. Christianity isn't as strict and nun-like as they make it out to be...
Also... we have such a great argument and they find it so hard to disprove that they get ticked off and bash it.
People bash what they don't know anything about or what they fear.
But what they don't know is.... I love being called a "Holy Roller" or a "Bible Thumper"...
I get kudos for being persecuted... : )
It only makes us stronger!
Shhhhh
: )

In Islam, prophet Jesus is a prophet like the many prophets that came before him. He was the way to God, just like prophet Moses was the way to God, but as man kind matured, so did the message sent down. Now, according to Muslims, we have the Holy Qur'an and it is the way to God, and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) being the final prophet. There are prophesies of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in the Bible to not make this conversation too long. In the Bible in genesis it says, 'And from the seed of Ishmael I will create a great nation, and from him 12 righteous descendants will I give.' The Bible also says that false prophets will be unsuccessful, but Islam will be the largest religion on this planet in the not too far off future. In fact, it is best to read the Holy Qur'an to get the story of prophet Jesus and his birth from the Virgin Mary. If prophet Jesus did not have a father and was of the spirit, so was prophet Adam who did not have a mother either or any previous human connection, plus he was of the spirit. If he brought the dead to life, prophet Moses brought a wooden stick to life in the form of a snake which is more miraculous. According to the Bible of St. Barnabas, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) will come after prophet Jesus. A Jewish man named Saul who killed thousands upon thousands of Christians but failed to destroy Christianity brought the idea of Zeus son of Apollo into Christianity. He never met prophet Jesus but managed to be portrayed highly and you now know him as St. Paul. There is so much that people do not know, or refuse to know.

Christians have a tendency to try and force their religion down people's throat. Many are very hypocritical, many have closed minds, but won't shut their mouths. I was raised conservative Christian, so I personally have tons of reasons. Christianity tends to be the most visible of the religions, so maybe this is why you see so many people taking offense to Christianity inparticular.

As a Christian (Catholic to be precise) I think that maybe our strong Faith - no matter what - is kinda not believable to people and because they can't comprehend that Faith we have in the Divinity of Jesus, the Bible's truth, etc that they become 'offensive' towards us because they no other way to express themselves. We must continue to pray for them :). No matter what religion - we respect them and they respect us - and we agree to disagree

There are always doubts in every religion. Christianity is exceptionally easy to find doubts in though, as their holy texts (the Bible) is so full of contradictions and inaccuracies, as well as having several contradicting versions. It's easier to find doubts in something that is so full of blindingly obvious errors.

They state there opinions as facts more strongly than any other religion. Also it's the religion that is most likely to respond and the one I'm most familiar with. Say no to jesus.

the offensive nature of christianity as I see it, is the premise that christians are right and all other religions are wrong... you are either a christian or you are going to hell.... that is not the message christ intended (in my estimation) but that seems to be what so many christians lock in on... "we must convert" it really is disgusting as far as I am concerned... I believe in christ's divinity, but i think he would be appalled at the way "his word" has been twisted to justify so many hateful viewpoints.

the great thing about christianity is that it can stand up
to doubts and questions. if christians do not feel the
need to question perhaps it is because they have
already found the answers within themselves. perhaps
they do not bash other beliefs because doing so only
seems to make the others close themselves even more
to what we know to be the way.

If you don't see other religions being slammed, it's only because you aren't reading those questions. I've taken stabs at Islam probably a dozen times today.
