No the population of earth is still pretty ignorant about thair spirituality. They think that this is the only life that they will ever live and that when the die they go to hevan. Jesus taught a much diffirent theme than this but what he said was changed by the catholic church because they didnt like the Idea of reincarnation and wanted to use the idea of hevan and hell as a populace control mechinisim.

HE gave up HIS job as a carpenter, to preach to the World.
Did HE do a good job? Well, there are millions of Christians that say HE did. HIS Apostles followed HIS ways, after HIS resurection, until thier deaths...
What people believe is thier repsonsibility. Did HE chip away at religious ignorance, well, that remains to be seen at the Judgement Day.
I wish you well..

No. If there was such a man upon which the NT is loosely based, he contributed to spiritual ignorance. You have to look to men like Bertrand Russell if you want to find people who chipped away at spiritual ignorance.

If he was a carpenter he must have been useless as I don't remember the Bible describing any of the tables, chairs, sideboards, wardrobes, bookshelves, window frames etc etc that he must have made during his carpentry career. Can you call yourself a carpenter if you just sharpen pencils?

Maybe if you pick up that dusty old thing in your bookcase called a BIBLE and READ it, you would know the answer to such a stupid question.
