Why bother, just move onto someone else. There are plenty of guys to choose from so why stay with some defective guy who has nothing but problems and treats you like sh**?

Note, I am not talking about normal human flaws, eveyone has those. I'm talking about the real problems that women talk about their men every day of the week. When they say they 'love' him, even though he treats her like sh** and has no repsect for her. Why do women bother with men like that. LIfe is too important to waste on bad men.

Yeah, that's a hard one...sometimes the other person fools you into thinking that maybe you just aren't giving them a fair chance OR you could be reading them all wrong and your just confused yourself.....the benefit of the doubt always seems to be the best choice BUT then if the problem continues and there is no compromise on the side of the other individual...you have to come to your senses and admit to yourself that this just isn't working out....it's hard to do that....it's called denial.....I usually give it a few months but if I see that no effort or communication is being made then I'm outta there.....I have already fallen for someone who I will probably ALWAYS love and I don't need to keep making the same mistakes over and over....I end it before I start to care to much....it's just smarter this way....a lot of people don't have that willpower though, many of my friends are like that, I'm getting older though, I need more from a relationship and I don't want to waste any unneccessary time on a loser or a person who doesn't have the same things in common with me.
I have finally reached a point in my life where I can honestly say that I don't want to have to CHANGE someone, it's much nicer when they change themselves, if need be, on their own because they actually want to.

when a girl gets in to a relationship with a guy she hopes he will change. AND HE STAYS THE SAME. when a guy gets in to a relationship with a girl he hopes she will stay the same. AND SHE CHANGES. the just the way the world turns

I don't think it's so much that we want to change you, women are naturally more accomadating. Then once in the relationship, like anyone else, we want things to be our way.
