I don't know who told you that any scripture you quoted is not relevant anymore. EVERYTHING in the Bible is still relevant. The New Testament and the Gospels tell of the Birth of Jesus, many of Jesus' discussions explain in easier to understand terms, laws of the Old Testament, and prophecies of the future.
All the commandments and laws of the Old Testament still are relevant and to be obeyed. Many people, however, twisted the meaning of the old scripture, to conform it to what they want. The Old Testament is hard to understand sometimes. Its really best to study it against the New Testament and with someone who can decipher it with you. Not always a Pastor either, historians, theologians, and others as well.

Is the bible relevant any more?
I mean it's a good story but can we in this day and age hold up a book that says; it’s ok to stone someone for touching a pig on Sunday, or for wearing to different fabrics at the same time; as the rules or morality and ethics?
I say not as long as it continues to turn a blind eye to some much of the current world.

No real Christian would tell you any part of the Bible is irrelevant. Its all true, its all relevant and we are called to give an answer to anyone who asks it of us. Now, I don't know 1) whether you are quoting out of context or 2) what version you are using, som versions are such aborations that they are useless. But I will answer any question you put forth. feel free to email: tigaseren1224@yahoo.com or send me an im.

If what you're saying is true, then you've been had!.....There is no true born again christian who believes the Bible references are no longer relevant!....there could be a possibilty that you're mixing some of the old covenant scriptures with new covenant scriptures!....you need to speak with a pastor!
