I didn't say that you shouldn't be allowed to practice your religion, I'm saying it shouldn't be allowed for you jackasses to run up on someone minding their own business and attack their beliefs and try converting them to yours. That's what should be illegal.

I think proselytizing is actually very immoral--spiritual questions can only be answered through deep introspection. I can't believe that any person of true faith would try to shove their religion down another person's throat. It's demeaning, at best.

But I don't think it should be illegal, because I don't think that any form of speech should be illegal. I think that the KKK can have parades right alongside Gay Pride day, and Jehovah's Witnesses can go door to door along with vacuum cleaner salesmen and Girl Scouts, and anarchists can have their rallies in town squares on Election Day, if they want.

while I really really get annoyed when people try to "save" me and preach to me. I dont think it would be a good idea to make it illegal

first it would not work they would just do it in a less organized maner so it would be hard for you to sue them.

second its a bad precedent on freedom of speech. First is ban religious preservation and then stop the communist and the Nazi from preaching their political filth. From then who knows what will happen.

I agree with you, because there are people out there who would try with all of their might to force others to follow their religion, such as Christianity (and especially Christians!), but it is also a bad idea of sorts because it will make America seem a little hostile towards religion.

UHHH no, why do you think we came to this land to begin with to have freedom of religion not from religion. You don't have to listen if you don't want to its your immortal soul not mine.

Yes.

People should find better things to do with their time than annoy other people with their superstitions.
