See sometimes I think that maybe having my new step-dad isn't so bad evan though he's an a@@@s sometimes.

My step father is the most wonderful man I know. Before he married my mother he told her he supports a woman and there is no need for her to keep working. So she quit her job and he kept true to his word. He bought her a house, a car and told her he doesn't want her cleaning the house because she might hurt herself. I told her oh please, she has been cleaning her own house for years and has never hurt herself. She made me laugh as she looked the other way and said her husband said she doesn't have to clean the house. He brings her fresh flowers and takes her out to eat, etc. In return, my mother is very good to him also. They're just the cutest couple.

hey give ur stepdad a chance . my stepdad is the best gift of God 2 me. i love him as my real dad nd i m sure even my real dad wouldnt have brought me up as he has. v hav some probs now and then but then v try 2 understand each others point nd d prob is solved. so b patient nd understanding.

Step parents are hard to deal with. They usually don't know how to act and you don't know how to deal with them. Some think they're friends, parents, etc. The best relationship is to just be friends and treat each other with respect.

I have been raising a step daughter for 19 years she still lives with me so it could not have been too bad for her

i really like my stepdad we have days out and stuff and hes really cool
in ten years of knowing him ive never seen him lose his temper and hes just a all round good guy really

I feel the same way! Mine annoys me and makes me so mad that I hate him sometimes. I actually tried to stop my mom from marrying him. He told me "I'm gonna marry your mom and there's nothing you can do about it!"....

theyre not bad if they make your mom happy and she makes him happy. if theres clear communication and all parties are represented well in didscussions and logic is used, everything should be good. i like mine. he can be senseless sometimes, but we communicate and its all better soon.

I like mines..he is really nice to me...I can talk to him about lots of things and he ALWAYS lets me borrow money..
