Yes that's common. There are two things you can do: 1. keep shaving it regularly and eventually you will get used to it growing back. 2. just trim it down with a beard trimmer or other type trimmer.
By just trimming it, it will look neat and you avoid the itching when it starts to grow back.

The bikini aid cream works really well. A couple other things: Use a sharp razor and shave every couple days. Tea tree oil also alleviates discomfort.

yes ..it has happened to me before ..it is just the new growth, like when a man shaves his facial hair , after about a day or 2 you feel the stubble

I did and that's why I never shave it all of the way down. That stubble itches like crazy.

the short hair ends poke the skin that comes in close contact.

i prefer natural anyway. just washed -- neat and clean is fine.

i dont expect anyone to shave.

Yeah, that is why you should wax, the hair comes back so much smoother, and not as quickly.

i had to for my vasectomy.growing it back and the itching was worst than the pain of my nads going purple and as big as tennis balls!
