18:29. Pilate therefore went out to them, and said: What accusation bring you against this man?
18:30. They answered and said to him: If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up to thee.
18:31. Pilate therefore said to them: Take him you, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said to him: It is not lawful for us to put any man to death.
Dixit ergo eis Pilatus accipite eum vos et secundum legem vestram iudicate eum dixerunt ergo ei Iudaei nobis non licet interficere quemquam
18:32. That the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he said, signifying what death he should die.
Ut sermo Iesu impleretur quem dixit significans qua esset morte moriturus
18:33. Pilate therefore went into the hall again and called Jesus and said to him: Art thou the king of the Jews?
18:34. Jesus answered: Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or have others told it thee of me?
Et respondit Iesus a temet ipso hoc dicis an alii tibi dixerunt de me
18:35. Pilate answered: Am I a Jew? Thy own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee up to me. What hast thou done?
Respondit Pilatus numquid ego Iudaeus sum gens tua et pontifices tradiderunt te mihi quid fecisti
18:36. Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence.
18:37. Pilate therefore said to him: Art thou a king then? Jesus answered: Thou sayest that I am a king. For this was I born, and for this came I into the world; that I should give testimony to the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
18:38. Pilate saith to him: What is truth? And when he said this, he went out again to the Jews and saith to them: I find no cause in him.
18:39. But you have a custom that I should release one unto you at the Pasch. Will you, therefore, that I release unto you the king of the Jews?
18:40. Then cried they all again, saying: Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

Well, first, do you believe the Bible is 100% accurate? There is no record of the Romans ever letting the people decide the fate of a man sentenced to any crime. The Romans kept records of everything, so historians don't believe this whole Pilate washing his hands story.
Then you dismiss the historical documents, older than the Bible, that make claim that Jesus never died. Remember, the Romans never took people off the cross. Never. They let the bodies rot to nothing. Why take Jesus down? Why stap him in the side? That wouldn't kill him. Stabbing him in the heart would, but people get stabbed in the side all the time and don't die. Things just don't add up that Jesus was killed on the cross. The only claim that he did die on the cross is the Bible, all other accounts have him being taken down alive, and surviving.

Man you have way too much time on your hands.
Christ was killed by the Romans not the Jews, but with the consent of some Jews.
And since there were basically only Jews and some Romans in Jerusalem at the time, what is your point?
You can go back to your White Power text book now and drink some more koolaid

Remember that even if your father or your son truly killed someone (God forbid), it would be unfair to hold YOU accountable for it. THAT SAID, know this that the Jewish folks neither killed Jesus nor they had the power to kill him, as they did not have the law in their hand. What you are repeating are perhaps the words of Pilate or perhaps words of other men after Pilate who wanted to teach Christianity to the Romans by pretending to be on the side of the Romans and against the Jewish folks.
Jews had the nerve to challenge Rome! The early Christians were all Jewish. Do you blame the apostles too? ALL TWELVE WERE JEWISH... if not, WHY NOT?
DO you owe your faith to men who killed Jesus, because no one questions that the apostles were Jewish.
Please refrain this hate and learn to be wise. THAT is best for you. AND, I want you to know that I am a Muslim, not Jewish, so you would not think a Jewish man is defending his own people.
May the Lord guide those who deserve to be guided. Ameen.

ok, for the record, the jews didn't kill jesus.
the romans did. that whole thing about the jews wanting to kill jesus because he "threatened" them is a bunch of crap. the jews WANTED a messiah, they wouldn't kill a guy who they thought might lead them to the kingdom they were promised, and the peace that would occur. many jews thought he was the messiah. the kicker was that he died. means to a jew, he wasn't the messiah.
historically, if you look at pilate's other trials, he was an arrogant bastard who killed anyone who threatened rome.
the bible paints a fuzzy, inconsistent picture of this event.

no one would like the feeling of guilt associated with that. it's also possible they don't really believe in Christ at all. however, it wasn't the jews who killed Christ -- it was you and me, our sin. He had to die to provide a way for our sins to be forgiven. The Jews gave him over to Pilate and demanded his death. The people cried out for it, and the Romans did the actual killing. All mankind is guilty of this death.

It was the Christian God's plan. He sent His only begotten son to die a horrible death on the cross so Christians could eat pork.

Strangely enough I have never met a Jew who gives it a second thought. Considering that in Judaism he is nothing but a mortal man who may or may not have existed.
