It all depends on your ages, how long you have been together....some of the things that are in both of your life histories....
Start by thinking - am I really with the right boyfriend? Am I with a man who will fulfill my needs?
If you are sure the answer is yes - then ASK him how you can get closer to him.

If your boyfriend is a a really good man, then show him you appreciate him. Get some candles and put them around the room . Put white and red rose pedles all over the bed and floor.Have a nice slow song that he likes playing low in the background. Give him a back massage with some light scented oils. You don't even have to have sex if you and him are not that far. But it will show him that you appreciate him.

Closer in what way? Your question just makes me want to ask too many other questions but if your interest in solviing your dilemma is so little that you think the question "how can I get closer to my boyfriend" is enough for anyone to form an opinion then you dont need mine.

Definitely share interests and talking to each other about...each other. Tell him what you like and ask what he likes. Share experiences and the past. It's very interesting usually. ^-^

well that depends, you might try something sexual, or you could go out and have a good time with him or try having some really long deep kisses with him and do that for a long time

show interest in his hobbies, but dont overcrowd him. try to stay over a little later and maybe eventually spend the night. (i dont necessarily mean for sex) its just sweet to wake up with the one you care for and cuddle all night.
