I used to work in an immigration office, and trust me... don't bother calling any of the service offices, because they're just going to tell you that they can't find any of your information. Go to www.uscis.gov and set yourself up with an "INFOPASS" appointment to go in and talk to a real person. You'll get more info that way, and you won't feel like you're banging your head against a brick wall. Also, the service centers don't ever give out their office phone numbers to the public, because they'd have applicants calling in all day trying to get answers, and no one would get any work done. The Social Security office used to give our number out, so I know what that's like.

Here's the address, but they don't give out the phone numbers; they want you to call the national service number.
