Does that primitive fairy tale sound right to you? For example why wouldn't Satan use his powers to make Hell really nice so that people wanted to go to Hell? He could gain power by being nice. The whole good and evil nonsense in the Bible is really very silly if you actually analyze it.

It is a challenge thrown by Satan to God that he shall desist People from following the right path shown by the messengers of Allah.
It is up to you and me to convert this challenge into a success or defeat.
Allah accepted the challenge and offered Satan to have full access to the attitudes of people and it shall be seen who are the true followers of God through their deeds.
It is we who have been given full opportunity and the decision to follow the path we consider correct.
Let the Satan feel embarrassed on the day of decision which is only possible if truth, justice and peace are made the order of the day. Although individuals make the society but society is driven by the decision makers.
Can any one convey this message to the so-called superpowers of today?

The other answers are correct. Satan tempts us to sin, but we choose to sin. That is why the bible tells us that when we have temptation, God gives us a way out. But, having a sin nature, we choose to sin anyway, most times!
With regard to satan desiring company in hell, I believe you hit the nail right on the head. Satan knows his end...and wants to take as many people with him as he can.

Christians have not rather found out this finished hell factor yet. some think of Hell is a realm wherein devil regulations, and because of this this is damaging (and the terribleness completely isn't gods fault). some think of Hell is a realm wherein devil is punished by ability of god, alongside with all sinners. some think of that's a realm wherein _only_ devil is punished, and that they are not sure what happens to sinners. i've got seen the opinion that the two hell and devil are basically allegorical too. @CalleyD - as a count of fact, on primary (a minimum of interior america of a) people who call themselves atheists score larger while it is composed of know-how of the bible than people who call themselves christian do. the reason being that this is demanding to argue against some thing without familiarizing with it first, and an excellent kind of yankee atheists have been initially christians who lost their faith by ability of analyzing what the bible easily suggested.

First of all, wanys makes me laugh. I believe that he wants as many of us to go to hell as possible and thus evil works against us all our lives.

Satan does not want to go to hell, he wants to be God that is why he was kicked out of Heaven. Every time we sin we are choosing to serve satan not God and that is what he wants.

Satan does not make people to sin. People Choose to sin or not.
You give satan too much credit. He may seduce you but you make choice. Freedom of Will is something that even God-Creator respects.

Devil him self was created by GOD and like everything that GOD made is perfect in anyway.
So what ever Devil does its the art of GOD and that's the way GOD designed before even first human could say we create evil.
THe Concept of evil had to be before you even give away free will and that's waht GOD did, create perfect hell and perfect heaven.
GOD alsow create only 1 way to get to heaven and zillions ways to get to perfect Hell.
There goes our free will. Too bad Cristians don't take time to educate them self but than again who needs smart ppl around. ITs easier to rule fools.
THerefore GOD and SUnday exists.

Satan doesn't make people do anything--it's called 'free will.' He may put certain things in your path that will tempt you to do what you shouldn't, but when it comes down to it, you're the one who chooses whether or not to yield to the temptation.

satan does not make people sin. he may facilitate sin. God gave us free will. as to his need for companionship: he's not looking for a buddy. he is just looking to punish God by leading people astray.
